Meet Ashley: Founder & Clinical Director
OCD & Anxiety Specialist, LLC
For more than a decade, I've dedicated my career to helping children, teens, and adults overcome Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, and related conditions. I founded OCD & Anxiety Specialist, LLC with a simple vision: to create a place where individuals struggling with OCD and anxiety could receive specialized, evidence-based care from clinicians who truly understand these conditions.
Originally trained at Western Psychiatric Hospital's intensive outpatient programs, I've spent my career specializing in the treatment of OCD, health anxiety, panic attacks, and related disorders. My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT). While these approaches guide my work, I believe meaningful therapy begins with a genuine therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, and curiosity.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of working in intensive outpatient settings, private practice, supervisory roles, and clinician consultation. I continue to provide consultation and supervision for therapists seeking greater confidence in treating OCD and anxiety, and I'm passionate about expanding access to high-quality OCD care by supporting both clients and fellow clinicians.
My commitment to ethical, compassionate care has been recognized through the UPMC Above and Beyond Award and the UPMC ACES Award. As an active member of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), I'm committed to ongoing learning, advocacy, and contributing to the OCD community. In 2024, I had the privilege of co-presenting at the IOCDF Annual OCD Conference, where a colleague and I led the support group "Oh Yeah, I Have a Little OCD Too." Together, we created a validating space to explore common misconceptions about OCD and bring greater awareness to the everyday experiences of those living with the disorder.
It is truly a privilege to do this work, and I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your values, regain confidence, and build a life that's no longer defined by OCD or anxiety.
